Jacksonville comes in at #40 with an overall score of 56.88. The Bold City follows Pittsburgh, PA and comes in just ahead of Centennial, CO.

How Did Jacksonville Score on the 2023 Best & Worst Cities for First-Time Home Buyers?
Overall, Jacksonville came in 40th on the 2023 list. It was slightly lower when looking to affordability (scoring 126th). With a Real-Estate Market ranking of 69th and Quality of Life of ranking at 68. When looking at Ranking by City Size, Jacksonville makes the Top 10 list for Large Cities (with Florida cities Tampa and Orlando taking the Top 2 spots).
