Quick Move In Homes: A new construction home on the left versus a future development sign on the right with surrounding text

Quick Move In Homes:New Construction without Delay

Do you want or need a new construction home but without the delays and headaches that can come with construction? Then quick move in homes or a quick delivery home may be just what you need.

What are Quick Move In Homes?

Quick move in homes are just that – houses that are ready (or will be ready shortly) for move in.  The upside for most is that you get the new house without the standard hassles associated with building.  Additionally, you often have access to incentives and deals with the builder’s preferred lender.  The downside of a quick move in home is that you get little to no say in any customization.

Would a Quick Delivery Home be Right For Me?

Ultimately, only you can answer this question.  With limited time, a need to purchase and new build atop your list–this is likely the fastest path to success. You may be better suited renting and going through construction if personalizing and customizing a home are of importance.  Here, you would be able to select your lot, choose an elevation/model and work through design customizations.

Where Might I Find a Quick Move In Home?

If you’re looking for a St. Johns home–there are quick delivery homes available in Beachwalk, Shearwater, SilverLeaf, Stillwater and RiverTown.  Beacon Lake and Mill Creek Forest have offerings but both look like their options are under construction.  If you’re curious about other communities, please get in touch and let me do some research on your behalf.

For anyone thinking about a move to the St. Johns area, with limited time yet wanting new construction, a quick delivery home may be the solution.  Please remember, in most cases, taking advantage of a quick delivery home means you will lose some of the benefits of construction (choosing colors, finishes and options). Also, I highly recommend utilizing the services of a real estate agent even in the case of new builds.  Typically, agent commission is covered by the builder and not anything that can be negotiated out of the sales price. If you would like to tour model homes in any of these neighborhoods or see these units in person, please reach out and let’s schedule your tour.
