New Construction Pool Build: St. Johns County New Build Advice

Let’s discuss new construction pool builds today.  Are you contemplating a new build in St. Johns County, FL and thinking about adding a pool during construction? Let’s analyze the perks of taking on this project during the construction phase of your home today.

Why Build a Pool During Construction?

The obvious answer in my mind is that of convenience.  There are a number of benefits you’ll realize by taking up the pool construction process during your new home build.

First is disruption: With your property under construction – the equipment required to dig, fill and generally construct your new pool should not cause any damage or disruption to your property.  When a pool is added after construction, you run the risk of landscape issues along with possibly removing/reinstalling fencing.

Second is Project Management:  There is a decent amount of project management that goes into pool construction. Here – your builder will work alongside the pool company to ensure that construction, inspection and permits are all completed on time.
Enjoyment:  typically pools requested during construction will be completed by closing. This will be a win as your pool will be ready to go Day 1 in your new home.
Financing: Typically, your pool can be rolled into your mortgage/financing (assuming you’re going this route) which adds convenience as well.
