National Builders that are Building in SilverLeaf:
D.R. Horton, David Weekley Homes, Dream Finders Homes, Lennar, Taylor Morrison, Toll Brothers and Richmond American are the national builders constructing residences in SilverLeaf. Townhomes are available from D.R. Horton in the Waterford Lakes neighborhood and from Dream Finders in the Brandon Lakes neighborhood. Lennar is currently building in Silver Landing and has started build out in the Silver Falls neighborhood. Dream Finders also has single family homes for sale in Silver Landing. Elm Creek is an exclusive Richmond American neighborhood with single family residences available. David Weekley Homes is offering homesites in the Oak Grove neighborhood.
Regional Builders:
The regional builders who are on board at SilverLeaf in St. Augustine include Ashley Homes, ICI Homes, MasterCraft Builder Group, Riverside Homes. All but ICI Homes have been building in both SilverLeaf Village and Silver Landing. The collective group of developers are now also working on building out the Johns Island neighborhoods of Courtney Oaks, Oak Grove and Courtney Chase.
Regional or National Builder?
The next logical question from many prospective buyers is “should I go with a regional or national builder?” As with so many things in real estate – there is no one size fits all answer unfortunately. If you need a townhouse – then you will exclusively be looking at a national builder offering. Where there is some room for choice is on the single family/detached home front.

There are a great mix of builders available along with plenty of model homes and townhomes to tour. Additionally, occasionally one of the model homes will come up for sale with always impressive list of upgrades. Lastly, as the community has been in under development for a few years now – there are re-sale homes from these same builders (and also Emerald Homes (a D.R. Horton Company)) starting to come to market.
