You’ve picked the location and are struggling with renting or buying. You decided a residential community just outside of a major city – that features top-ranked schools, near the beaches and with amazing weather is where you’ll land.
Next up – Finding the House
But wait – should you buy or rent? Admit it – you are frustrated and perhaps a bit fatigued from all the decisions.
Struggling with Renting or Buying?
If you buy: it be a resale home or a new build? If you pick a new build, will you start from scratch or take a quick-delivery spec home? National builder or local builder? Which community? Will you even like it here? Can we be into the home in time for school to start?
If you’re considering a rental: How long should we rent for? Do we want to risk moving twice in a short amount of time? Will the kids have to change schools?
These are all valid questions. Not to complicate things (but trying to help you land in the right spot) what does work look like? Is there a maximum commute you want to consider? Budget, amount of space needed?
When Struggling with Renting Or Buying:
I can help you talk either of these conundrums. We made the mistake of going it alone. I don’t want you to have that experience as there is help readily available. In our case, we got lucky – many others as we invested countless hours in due diligence.
Ultimately – the decision to buy or rent is yours. Renting gives you more flexibility but comes with (potentially) another move. Building can take time (unless you go the spec home/quick move in route). Let’s help you make an informed decision you are comfortable living with.
